Notepad for the TI83+ is a user-friendly program for storring text into 'string0' and then easily recalling it.  

ITS PASSWORD IS:  '950'   (simple, huh?)  You can change it by editing the first appx. 10 lines of code in a text editor and
       then saving it.  The variable is 'P'

To read text that you have stored, select 'READ' from the menu and hit enter.  For every time you hit enter, a new character is displayed at the bottom of the screen, and the old, already viewed characters are pushed up and out of the way.  So hit enter until you get a screen that says:
"USE AGAIN?"
"1=Y/0=N"
"?"
This means:  "do you want to use the program again?"  Hit 1 for 'yes' and 0 for 'no'
