Enter the year (4 digit), month (1-12), and day (1-31) for the ealier date. 3. Enter the month, day, and year for the later date. Example #1: DATE 1 YEAR=?2000 MONTH=?5 DAY=?31 DATE 2 YEAR=?2000 MONTH=?6 DAY=?1 DBD= 1 Comment: Consecutive days give dbd=1. If the dates entered are the same, dbd=0. Example #2: DATE 1 YEAR=?1983 MONTH=?4 DAY=?18 DATE 2 YEAR=?1982 MONTH=?12 DAY=?21 DBD= -118 Comment: If the dates entered are in the wrong order, the answer will be the negative of the correct answer Example #3: DATE 1 YEAR=?95 MONTH=?2 DAY=?10 DATE 2 YEAR=?00 MONTH=?2 DAY=?12 DBD= -34697 Comment: Your calculator is not smart to recognize that 00 is supposed to be five years after 95, so it gives a meaningless answer. This is why you should use four-digit years, like in this next example: Example #4: DATE 1 YEAR=?1995 MONTH=?2 DAY=?10 DATE 2 YEAR=?2000 MONTH=?2 DAY=?12 DBD= 1828 Comment: What's the significance of the dates in these examples?
