BASES By Wade Sims simsw3d@home.com *** DISCLAIMER *** I cannot be responsible for any damage done to your calculator or yourself, real or imagined. ****************** ------------ INTRODUCTION ------------ Bases: another useful program that will convert any number from base ten to another base, or from another base to base ten. ------------- Requirements: -Ti-83 Plus calculator (duh) -TI-GRAPH LINK or a keyboard to enter it by hand, hehe, like you have the time... -242 bytes free. ------------- Installing and running -Send the program to your calculator via the Graph Link (or type it by hand). -Go to your program menu and select it. -Press ENTER -You'll get a menu with the options to convert an number to base ten, or from base ten. Choose the selection you want, then enter the number in it's current base. Press enter. Then enter the base it's in. Press enter again. There is your number in the base you want it as. E. G. We want to turn 432 base 16 into base 10 Use selection number one (# -> Base 10) Enter the number in (432) Enter the base it is in (Base 16) Press enter 432 base 16 is equal to 1074 base 10 -Hint: If you want to convert 432 base 16 into base 15, turn the number into base 10, (1074), then take that and turn base 10 into base 15 (519) -If you want to quit just press ON and QUIT Any problems?
