Railfanning on a TI83+ v2.0 (Final release) ------------------------------------------- Thank you for your interest in this software. This is the companion game to the website of the same name. Requirements: TI-83+ Graph Link software (TI-83 software may also work) Graph link cable (we used grey serial port) Installation: It is assumed that you would know how to do this. Just overwrite everything it prompts. What's New (since v1.0): - 15 all new train journal entries - 9 all new train pictures - optimized code to reduce file size - program now cleans up after itself Coming soon: - A version for the PC (hooray!) with full color images and sound. - A steam version Q. When is the PC version coming out? A. Ok, I know it has been ridiculously long. Darren has sent permission requests twice already. We are planning to work on it some more and send them some screenshots to show them that we are serious. Q. Hey, how come this is huge compared to previous versions? A. Sorry, but train journal entries take up space on the calculator. Our calculators contain this game as well as several other large programs and we have lots of memory space left. If size is a problem for you, archive your unused programs or delete them. I have made the game as small as possible by putting multiple lines of code together on one line. Q. When is the steam version coming out? A. The steam version is still in the concept stage. Writing the code will take between five and ten seconds (copy... paste! hehe). It's just a matter of writing new train journal entries and drawing new pictures (one is already done). Everything depends on how ambitious Darren is feeling.
