Gee, I'm benevolent, aren't I? *NOTE* Unless you've played Nedman I, this won't make sense. It won't at ALL, unless.... unless I include THAT story too! Wow, I'm on a roll! ****************************************************************************************************************** Late one night, Nedman was walking home, or something, and BOOM! He was attacked! The horribly pathetic lexorphals (the squared guys, right now, this concept of NAMING ascii characters is stupid, but it'll come together with Nedman II) and the Ugobodash (the Pi. Stupid name, I know, I know) surrounded our hero!!!! The theta race and the Pi race lived peacefully among each other, the lexorphals obidiently serving as the Pi's slaves, and all was well. But the evil Pi king oppressed the lexorphals SO much, the thetas stepped in, setting some lexorphals free, and killing some Pi masters, Ugobodash, an evil Pi, with seemingly unlimited life, flanked by his two lexorphal slaves, went into the night, ready to attack the first theta they saw.... (Thus ends Nedman I story... and there just happens to be a GAME you need to play right about now (Nedman I)) After the fight between the lexorphals and Ugobodash, darkness encompassed the earth. A black hole ripped across the battlefield. The lexorphals were sucked into oblivion. Ugobodash watched in a raged fit as Nedman floated towards a blip in the sky, and lose conciouness. Nedman awoke in a chamber. He could not see any walls, for a rainbow colored fog engulfed the room. He could not see anything holding the platform he was on up, nor any bottom to the chasm. Suddenly, another platform appeared, with a glowing ball of light on it. The ball spoke: "Nedman, your quest does not end here. Ugobodash awaits for revenge. The Pi's are angry. They want blood." Nedman stared at the ball. "What have I done?" asked the theta. "It's not what you've done, but your race's fight to free the lexorphals anger the Pi's. Ugobodash has targetted you." Nedman stared blankly. "I have given you three gifts, and you MUST use them to free the lexorphals!" The ball disappeard, and Nedman lost conciousness again. Nedman woke in a field. In the distance, a figure closed in............ ******************************************************************************************************************* TAAAADAAAA!!! *ahem* Now, being the author of this game, I must, at this point, comment that upon arrival of Nedman III (yes, III), more of the story will be complete! I'm going for six. Maybe nine. Depends on my mood. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ************************************************** 2- | Changes/Differences of Nedman II from Nedman I | ************************************************** Whew! I just can't contain myself! Not only are you ARMED, with a weapon and a shield, you can transform! I suggest you look through the menus before playing, because it may help understanding, but if that doesn't work... well then I'm gonna hafta tell you about these here new characters! Nedman: 5 lives, 10 shields. You start out as him. Vile Nedman: 3 lives, INFINITE SHIELDS!!!, cannot use weapon. Evil Nedman: Totally unarmed! However, 12 lives! Spy Nedman: Everyone say "OOOOOOOOOOO" for Spy Nedman has TOTAL freedom from that Pi! It just wanders aimlessly!! You can use the weapon, but no shield, and if you kill it, you get 9 points! However, that's easier said than done! You get one life with this character. Confused Nedman: 5 lives, INFINITE SHIELDS!!! You can use the weapon! The controls are reversed! Whoops! Look like I did THAT on purpose! Flight Nedman: By FAR the best, and hardest character to get. 28 lives, but everytime you get hit, you lose HALF a life. Wierd, no? Infinite shields, weapon use. But why is it called "Flight" Nedman? Just because of the way it looks. That's all. Also, this character isn't in the bio menu. Don't ask why. Everytime you earn a character, the character's symbol will appear on the sides of the screen somewheres, showing you can transform into that character. The symbol at the bottom, between the L and the S, show the character you ARE. Anything else new? YES! Your high score is SAVED, and you can input your name with the high score! Let's see, um, new fangled menus, oh YEA! Just for the fun of it, you can play the original Nedman! YAY! Look in the information menu. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ************ 3- | Controls | ************ Anyone played Nedman I? Ungroup NEDMAN2 group after sending it to your calulator. Then run the (theta)II program. Most likely that's at the BOTTOM of your program list. There. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ALRIGHT! Now, go play this here incredible (hahaha, *AHEM*) game! And wait PATIENTLY for Nedman III! BUT FIRST! Note that the text you see is a funny mix of upper and lowercase letters. The TI-GRAPH link doesn't recognize EVERY lowercase letter. This infuriates me to NO end, but there ain't nothing I can do, but I WON'T accept all uppercase. That looks worse than what on your calculator does.
