It will work on both the TI-83 and the TI-83 plus. Included in the zip file are three files; cage.8xp, cage.83p, and readme.txt. How to install: In order to install this program you must have a Texas Instruments Graph Link to connect the calculator to you computer, as well as 815 available bytes of memory. If you are using a TI-83 plus send the file cage.8xp to you calculator. If you are using a TI-83 send cage.83p. Once the file is on your calculator run it by selecting "cage" from your program menu. How to play single Player: After the title screen comes up, press enterand select 1. Next select a difficulty level; Easy, Medium, or Hard. You will then be returned to the title screen, press any key to proceed. Your curser will be represented by an astrix (*). You will also see a number in the corner of your screen. This number represents the number of turns you have remaining. Finaly you will see a pi symbol. The goal of the game is to move your * so that it is on top of the pi. However, the pi moves once for every turn you take. To move your * around simply use the arrow keys, each move will take up one turn. If you wish to use a turn with out moving, press any key other than "on" or the arrows. You can quit at any time by pressing "on". How to play two player: You can also play against an opponent with a Link Cable. Connect two TI-83's (or 83 Plus, it dosn't matter) firmly with the cable. Both calculators must have either of the cage programs. To start you both must run the program, and select 2 players. You will both be returned to the title screen. When you are both ready you can start playing the exact way you did in single player. There is no turn limit, and it dosn't matter who wins in less turns, what matters is who wins fastest overall. So if I have only taken two turns, while you have taken 15, but you catch the pi before I do, you will win.
