CRASH COURSE version 1.3 ------------------------------------------ created by Andrew Steed updated by Nick Michaluk ------------------------------------------ ZIP CONTENTS: CRASHCOURSE.txt-->this file you are reading now about crash course CRASHCRS.8xp-->83plus version of the game CHEATCOURSE.txt-->description of the crash course cheat program CHEATCRS.8xp-->the 83plus cheat program for crash course ------------------------------------------ THIS PROGRAM IS COMPATIBLE WITH MIRAGE OS ------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------ Crash Course is a simple "don't hit the edge" game for the ti83plus calculator. (it would be very easy to get it working on the ti83, it doesn't use any 83plus specific code. I will include an 83 version in my next update.) You play the game by using the left and right keys to avoid the edges. If you touch the edge, the game is over. your score will be displayed at the upper right. During play you can press the 2nd key to pause it. This will also display your score at the upper left. Press Enter to resume play. Your score is saved after you play. It will only be deleted if you do a memory reset or if you specifically delete it's variable. It is not stored in a value that will be changed by accident. (it can be changed deliberately, however. see the CHEATCOURSE.txt readme for more information.) When the game gets down to one lane, your car can brush against the right side of the track with no penalty. If you touch the left side, the game is over. I know this may seem like cheating, but I think it is a fair way to play. the course is still challenging after time. If you are a good enough player, you can expect to get scores well above 5000! This game has a companion cheat program. You do not have to use it if you do not want to. See CHEATCOURSE.txt for more information. ------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------ These contact addresses are not operating as of 10/5/2000, but I hope to have them working within the month.
