It can replace Utopia or IONEmu. ** INSTALLATION First, TSE is required and should already be on your calculator. Send LINUX.8XG to your calculator. Type Asm(prgmCHSHLINX at the homescreen and press enter. Note that TSEKRNL must be unarchived for this to work. TI-Linux is now configured as the default shell for TSE. To use TI-Linux you must leave prgmLINUX in your RAM. ** RUNNING / CONTROLS Run TSE by running prgmA. TI-Linux kernel 1.10 will load. Key Controls for main screen:- Mode - Exit Left arrow - Move cursor left Right arrow - Move cursor right Up arrow - Move cursor up Down arrow - Move cursor down On - Power off calculator 2nd - Select icon (note the mouse pointer must be centered on the icon) ** USAGE TIPS To run TSE programs, choose the icon labeled 'Programs' from the main screen. XShell Manager will load and is very similar to Utopia (which comes with TSE). Here are the keys: Up arrow - move up one program Down arrow - move down one program Left arrow - move left one screen Right arrow - move right one screen Clear - Exit XShell Manager and return to main screen X,T,0,N - Archive/Unarchive currently selected program 2nd/Enter - Run/start the selected program Alpha - End the task of the currently selected program On - Power off calculator To access the file manager, select the icon labeled 'Explorer' from the main screen. The keys for the File Manager are: Left arrow - move back one program Right arrow - move forward one program Clear - exit File Manager and return to main screen On - Power off calculator F1 (Y=) - Hide the currently selected program from the TI-OS F2 (WINDOW) - Toggle the currently selected program between protected and unprotected F3 (ZOOM) - Delete the currently selected program F4 (TRACE) - Archive/unarchive the currently selected program F5 (GRAPH) - Run the currently selected program if it is BASIC, has a colon at the beginning, and is unarchived. ** System Information Screen Access this by choosing the icon labeled 'Sys. Info.' from the main screen. Press any key to return to the main screen when you are done viewing the information. ** About screen Self-explanitory. ** BUGS/DEVELOPMENT/ETC. No known bugs. Also, you might notice that the screen fades out when you exit TI-Linux. Just a demonstration of my programming skills. :) Also, I wrote this a while ago, so it doesn't have optimizations such as replacing all of those cp 0's. In general, the code efficiency is very little.
