¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿ ¤ Knight Moves DX ¤ ¤ by: ¤ ¤ Jonathan Tobe ¤ ¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿ Knight Moves DX: ================ A game for MirageOS - 589 Bytes - where you attempt to move on a board the same way that a knight (the chess piece) would move. However, you can't land on a space that you already used. Info: ===== The difference between this and the normal knight moves is that, the other day, a friend asked me to put some games on his TI-86, and when looking i found a game called "Square Fill" which was a lot like knight moves, but also had a lot of extra, good ideas. Since all i have is a TI-83 and a TI-83+, i wanted something with those extra ideas. Last night i was playing the TI-86 virsion, and got to thinkin bout how my friend would want his calculator back soon, so i decided to make this. The extra feature is that the board is custom sizeable, anywhere from 4x4 to 10x15. But i took out the counter from the TI-86 virsion, cuz i didn't see a whole lot of point to it, and i wanted to be able to use the whole screen as a board, and i also took out the scoring, for the game, and highschore, cuz i didn't figure that it would seem right having one high score for 84 possable board sizes, and i didn't want a score to be taking up room on the screen, again, so that you could use the whole thing. Insturctions: (assuming you know how to get it on the calc, and start it) ============= When you start the game, you'll see just a grid. Use the arrow keys to change it's size to anything between 4x4 and 10x15. When you have the size you want, then press the [2nd] key. Then you'll see the piece, move it to wherever you want to start using the arrow keys. Press the [2nd] key again to start the gameplay. Use the arrows to move the cursor and the [2nd] key to confirm the move. Keys: ===== grid: arrow keys - change the grid size [GRAPH] - exit [2nd] - set grid size, and move to next step starting place selection: arrow keys - move the cursor [GRAPH] - exit [2nd] - set starting place, and begin the game game: arrow keys - move the cursor [GRAPH] - exit [2nd] - confirm move [CLEAR] - clear the board complicated, huh? Bugs: ===== I hope not, and don't think so. If you do find any please let me know :) Thanks: ======= Jason and Dan for MirageOS the best shell i've ever had the pleasure of using or developing for Joe for making ION the shell i first started programing with Anyone who releases their source The makers of knight moves, and square fill And everyone in the TI community Disclaimer: =========== i've tested it pretty good (i think), meaning i've never had any problems with it, however, i take no responsibility for any problems that it may cause. make sure you don't have any important data on your calculator, that isn't backed up, before you run this program.
